Most people manage finances privately, with no structured way to share critical information. Bank accounts, loans, insurance, and property details remain scattered across documents and apps. In case of sudden death or emergencies, family members struggle to locate this information, causing emotional stress, delays, and legal complications. There was a clear need for a secure, simple system that keeps everything organized and accessible only when truly required.

The goal was to design a simple and secure app that helps users record financial information, control access, and ensure families can retrieve critical details during emergencies without confusion or risk.

Our Approach
We began by understanding user fears around privacy, trust, and data misuse. The experience was structured around clarity and control, ensuring users always knew where their data was and who could access it. We designed a simple information structure for different asset types and introduced emergency access rules for sensitive situations. Wireframes focused on reducing cognitive load, while UI design emphasized calm visuals and clear actions. Every screen was validated for ease of use and emotional reassurance.
Grouped all records into clear categories to reduce confusion.
Designed sharing controls with visible permissions for transparency.
Kept visuals minimal to build trust and reduce anxiety.
Introduced inactivity-based check-ins instead of sudden data release.
Used simple language across the app to support non-technical users.
Key Design Decision
Outcome
The final design delivered a calm, secure experience for managing sensitive financial data. Users can easily add, update, and organize records while maintaining full control over sharing. The app supports long-term use, emergency scenarios, and family trust without overwhelming users with complexity.
Impact
The redesigned experience improved clarity, reduced confusion around AI assistants, and helped position Vaktr as a trustworthy and approachable AI workforce platform for modern businesses.
